Mrs. Evelyn Houlehan, wife of Fred Houlehan, secretary and treasurer of the Crawfordsville Hardware Company died this morning at 10 o'clock after a week's illness from pneumonia at their residence, 917 West Main Street. She was a life-long resident of this county, having been born 22 years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Myers who resided near Yountsville. Mrs. Houlehan was a member and active worker in the Trinity Methodist Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Frances Jane, aged 6 years and Richard, aged 4 years, father, John Myers and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Shanklin and Miss Bonnie Myers both of this city. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. -- kbz
